Rock Bottom
Veterans of the Berlin improv scene, Steindor and Carl’s shows draw on their shared experiences of being reasonably tall comedy nerds both hailing from tiny island nations that start with “I” and end with “eland”. Rock Bottom shows are fast-paced and character-driven with a heavy emphasis on following the fun. These versatile performers put on a fluid, formless and unpredictable show, and their mums think they are very handsome and cool.
Mostly Sorry
Drawn from six nations, members of Mostly Sorry meet once a week to play in a cosy basement studio in Berlin. For a team of seven, the options are small, though after a hotly contested debate, ultimate frisbee, water polo and kabaddi were rejected in favour of improv. Under the guidance of our coach, Trevor Silverstein, Mostly Sorry’s evolving montage style has so far rooted itself in truthful observation with a playful edge. The team is made up of: Jonathan Schwab, Geoff Mills, Tanusree Chaudhuri, Carmine Paolino, Leonie Lawrence, Cieke Sterk and Leon Berov.
